THE ORIGIN
The work started with a broken system. Not this one. A different one.

For almost two decades I built a career in food activism. Executive chef of a fine dining restaurant in San Francisco at twenty-five. Then a butcher shop. Then the Butchers Guild: a national nonprofit dedicated to preserving the dying art of whole animal butchery, because I believed that food cultures carried something sacred worth protecting.
I built it because I loved the ceremony of it. The tradition. The idea that how we feed people is how we care for them.
And then I saw the cracks. The distribution was rigged. Small producers couldn't survive. The food system was subsidized at the expense of the people it claimed to serve. The whole system was set up to perpetuate itself at the cost of everyone inside it.
I understood then what I would spend the next decade understanding in a different domain: you cannot change a broken system by working harder inside it. You have to change the environment.
I burned out. The life I had built through hustle and genuine passion had consumed me. And in that burnout I found the question underneath everything I had been doing...
The Truth
"What was I actually here to build? Not what I was good at. Not what I "thought" the world needed. What had I specifically been sent here to do."
That question took six years to answer.
Not because I stopped working. I kept building, kept serving, kept going. Through everything that was true but incomplete. Through everything I had to dismantle before I found what was actually mine.
What I found at the bottom of all of it was field work: a complete, original, teachable discipline for how humans construct, inhabit, and transmit reality.
I built the Source Codex Method and delivered 100 private sessions. I developed the six layers of the discipline through years of living inside them. I refused to create copies of copies in a personal development space that was as broken at the surface level as the food system had been.
I am the originator of field work. Not because I claimed it. Because I built it:Â through everything that was true but incomplete, and everything I had to dismantle before I found what was actually mine.
