The Business Is Not The Problem. The Misplacement Is.

Sep 22, 2026

And it has been eating you ever since.

There is a version of business advice that has done a particular kind of damage. Not through malice — through misapplication. Through well-meaning people assigning spiritual meaning to jobs that do not carry it.

Here is what I know to be true: the spiritual business industry has confused the container.

Belief work is real. Energetic attunement is real. The work of understanding your own soul blueprint, your original design, the architecture of who you actually are — that is real, and it is the foundation of everything I teach. But that work belongs in one place. And business belongs in another. When you collapse those two containers into one, you do not deepen either. You break both.

Let me show you what that collapse looks like.

The Coffee Shop

Imagine you are working the counter at a coffee shop.

A customer walks in and orders a cup of coffee. In that moment, you find yourself unable to take their money. Not because the machine is broken. Not because the card reader failed. But because something inside you is unsettled about receiving payment. You tell yourself it might be your inner child. Or your relationship history. Or a deep-seated belief that you do not deserve to be compensated for your work.

Now: what does your manager do?

They fire you.

Because this is a coffee shop. People are buying coffee. Taking money for coffee is the job.

Remove the employee from the scenario entirely. You own the coffee shop now. You have invested hundreds of thousands of dollars. You have an electricity bill, a lease, a roasting machine that needs maintenance, employees walking through the door this afternoon, crates of milk and cream and beans arriving at the loading dock. The entire apparatus of a running business is in motion, and you cannot bring yourself to charge for the thing you opened the coffee shop to sell.

At that point, the question is not whether you need to work on your identity.

The question is: why did you open the coffee shop?

Where The Problem Actually Starts

Most of the people I work with are not struggling because they have broken identities. They are struggling because they were given a business-shaped container before they had business fluency to fill it.

They were told to build a business around their calling before they understood what it means to actually run a business — to price an offer, to hold a sales conversation without unraveling, to create one clear entry point and move people through it with precision. All of that foundational work was skipped, because the spiritual business industry said the inner work was the strategy.

It was not.

And so what happened is this: the mechanics of running a business, the real friction of execution, the mundane daily work of selling a thing — all of that friction got internalized. It got turned into a personal problem. A soul problem. An identity wound.

The inability to charge confidently became evidence of a broken money mindset. The difficulty closing a sale became proof of a deep unworthiness. The confusion around the offer became a signal to go back inside, do more work, find the next download.

The problem was misnamed. And a misnamed problem does not get solved. It just gets fed.

The Second Layer

There is a second layer to this, and it matters.

When someone cannot sell the simple thing — the one cup of coffee — the instinct is often to add more to the cup. To over-elaborate. To build out an entire universe of spiritual insight and intuitive guidance and symbolic frameworks and energetic downloads, and to bundle all of that into an offer so layered and so dense that even the person selling it could not explain it plainly at the counter.

That is not a business. That is a distraction from the real work of building one.

Precision is not limitation. Precision is power. A single clear offer with a single clear entry point, executed repeatedly and with evidence behind it, will outperform a sprawling constellation of unproven ideas every time.

What Actually Changes Things

Evidence is what changes everything. Not more vision.

Not more identity work. Evidence — the kind that comes from doing the thing, completing the thing, refining the thing, and having the results to show for it.

You do not discover what you are made of by looking further inward.

You discover it by getting in the room, making the offer, doing the work, and watching what happens.

The founders who come through my work arrive with a version of the same story. The details change — the industry, the revenue stage, the specific place where things unraveled — but the structure is almost always the same. They took a genuine desire to build something real and meaningful, a desire rooted in actual design and divine assignment, and they layered on top of it an enormous amount of spiritual processing that was not doing the work they thought it was doing. It was covering for the absence of business fundamentals.

The moment they understand that, something breaks open. The problem becomes smaller. The solution becomes clearer. And the path forward stops looking like more seeking and starts looking like execution.

One offer. One doorway. A clear channel. An execution engine that is actually built.

That is the work. That is where conviction comes from. Conviction is not a feeling you arrive at through inner searching. It is a position you earn through evidence.

Why I Built It This Way

There is a reason I built The Academy the way I did.

Not to give people more content to consume or more frameworks to collect. But to close the gap that this industry has left wide open: the gap between calling and competence, between purpose and the practical architecture that makes it executable.

What you think is happening is rarely what is happening.

And the fastest path forward is the one that tells you the truth about that — precisely, directly, without spiritual wrapping that softens the diagnosis and delays the work.

The business is not the problem.

Your relationship to it is.

If this named something you've been circling - the offer that's still too layered, the sale that still feels tangled in something deeper than it is - apply, and I'll help you find the actual doorway.
